Gallard Industries, Inc. produces machines and parts for a wide range of companies. Some of our more well known clientele are listed below along with a brief description of the projects. Let us work with you to develop your production facility with our standard products or custom designed equipment.

Black and Decker

We have designed and developed many machines for Black and Decker. Some of these machines can be seen in our custom design showcase, Press Tables, Run In  Machines, and Motor Casing Welding Machine. We also custom design and fabricate press tooling for the aforementioned tables.

In addition we also, make production tooling and fixturing for their production lines and assembly lines. Items such as:

  • Accumulating tables for parts such as motor casings
  • Pick and place machines using robots for small part movement
  • Perishable tooling to save expensive equipment due to break downs and crashes

Boeing Helicopter Company

Gallard Industries, Inc. helped design and manufacture 4000 fuel vent assemblies for  Boeing's CH47 Schnook helicopter.

These were made of thin wall aluminum tubing and sheet.  Specialized welding was required for assembling the fuel vent units. Before this welding could be started aircraft welding certification was obtained and all welding was at our plant location. We manufactured, machined, bent tubing, welded, and inspected the completed parts in-house. The only process done outside the plant was the plating. The assembled units were pressure tested three times for leaks and went through other extensive quality control procedures to meet Boeing's high standards they set for their vendors.

Celeste Industries

Our Company over the years has worked closely with this major packaging company to help design and build machines and tooling to process product within their plant.

Filter Networks

Gallard Industries has machined high volumes of electrical components in various types of raw materials. These parts have entailed both CNC lathe and milling operations each being held to close tolerance. Their parts ranged in size from less than a half an inch to 11 inches in length. Types of material ranged from brass, aluminum, copper, plastics, stainless steel, and mild steel. We helped Filter Networks while they were developing new products. We would do "one-offs" for them then let them build up the part then make any changes as necessary. If we saw ways to save money in our machining procedures, we would alert Filter Networks to this fact and see if it was acceptable to them. Filter Networks at times has parts that they purchase that need to be modified to fit their application. We would modify these parts to their specifications. This would entail any thing from drilling and tapping holes to  cutting away some threads not needed.

JASCO, Incorporated

Jasco has been manufacturing analytical equipment for many years in the Orient. Their branch in the United States and Gallard Industries have worked together to start producing components here in the States. This saves time and money for the end user. Most of the drawings we have had to work from have been in Japanese. The parts for Jasco have consisted of small aluminum and brass machined pieces. Gallard has done prototype pieces as well as small runs for Jasco.

K & L Microwave, Inc.

Gallard Industries machines a variety of sub-component parts for K&L in brass and aluminum. Lot sizes running from 50 pieces to 10000 pieces are of normal run size. Part size can be any where from under one half inch to four and five inches square. We drill and tap literally hundreds of thousands of 0-80, 2-56, and 4-40 holes for them. Other operations we do for them are pocket milling and contouring. Most finish requirements for their parts are 63 or better and tolerances range from +/- .002 to +/- .005. Some of the hole diameters are to be held at +.001-.000. These parts are used throughout the electrical industry.

Orion Safety Products

In our show case of machines you can see and read about the Emergency FlareWax Coating Machine we designed and built for them. Also we have produced tooling and spare parts for this major road side flare manufacturer.

AirPax - Formally Philips Technologies

AirPax is one of the world's leading electronic companies that we produce parts for. We currently produce tooling and fixturing which they use in their daily manufacturing process. A wide range of materials are used for producing tooling for AirPax. They have specified many different types of plastics such as lexan, black nylon, derlin, and UHMW. Other materials used are phenolics, aluminum, and tool  steel (A2, O1, S7, D2). Most pieces which are made of tool steel are all hardened and ground to precision tolerances. Aluminum parts are sent out for either black anodize or hard coat. AirPax also purchases parts that need to be modified to their specifications. We have modified such parts for them on our CNC milling machines. Volume for these production runs range from 200 to 3000 pieces at a time. Completed runs are delivered on time to meet AirPax production schedule. Not only is quality a major consideration but lead times and on time delivery are a requirement for all AirPax vendors. This is where Gallard Industries continually excels in and out performs its competition
