Pneumatic press table The GIMSPT-(X) Presses are designed to press and assemble small parts i.e. gears, bearings, fans and shafts together in the manufacturing environment. They can be constructed with a width of 9" to 18" and stroke lengths from 1/2" to 6" in 1/2" increments, optional strokes and any other stroke through 12". Standard shunt heights are 10",12",14" and 18". Pressures are to 7800 lbs with 80 lbs pneumatic input depending on the tooling or fixturing used. These presses can assemble a multitude of parts singularly or in batches to exceptionally close tolerances utilizing semi-trained operators. In banks, operators can operate several presses at a time, thereby, assembling whole assemblies for a manufacturing line with fewer personnel.

Our Press Table was designed with the operator's safety in mind. Banner OPTO touch buttons, 24 volt DC power supply and lexan guarding are incorporated for operator ease and safety.

The lexan guarding is pneumatically controlled through an Allen Bradley Micro-Logic PLC which allows the guarding to be up for loading and down during the pressing operation. This operation is run by the Banner OPTO touch buttons.

assembly line press equipmentThe table frame is constructed of 2" square steel tubing mounted on top of Colson casters for mobility The table top is 1/4" steel plate covered with a 3/8" thick UHMW plate. Fabco Air multi power presses are used for their versatility of stroke lengths, pressing force and compact size and cleanliness.

The guarding frame work is constructed of 8020 aluminum extrusion with 1/4" thick clear lexan attached to the aluminum with slides in the front (or operator station) of the table. The back and sides of the press are also guarded with lexan, but these are stationary pieces. The pneumatics portion of the press table consists of SMC brand pneumatic components; i.e. valves, cylinders, FRL's, fittings, dump valve and air lines. We are currently using SMC pneumatic products due to their quality and lead times of their products.

high capacity press equipmentThese Press Tables can be installed as a single press on a table or multiple presses of the same or of varying sizes mounted to a larger table for multiple step press operations. Different table sizes and configurations are available including heights to enable them to fit certain applications.

pneumatic controlled pressJanesville Tool and Manufacturing Co. mini die sets are utilized in the pneumatic press tables. These die sets are reasonably priced, easy to machine all of which allows for doweling of parts and design and for quick changeover tooling.
